Cheap plastic shoes such as the medusa shoes we all wear in our childhood are very popular shoes in Africa. They are cheap, resistant, not warm and can be used for many occasion like for example to play soccer but also to go to work and going out. For the occasion of the football world cup in Africa, KIX was asked by an African manufacturer to design a new brand associated to 2 models of plastic shoes dedicated to African market. The Panam is the first masculine model of the Zebra brand . It was specially designed at the occasion of the world cup and is dedicated to African football fans. Its honeycomb pattern remind of the football mesh and football pattern. The EVA sole bring comfort and can be easily removed for cleaning. The lines on the front reinforced the shoes and bring modernity to the design.
